Khan's Rocket Straws

Khan’s rocket straws

My dream wouldn’t be complete without...blog time.
On Thursday I started to work on some rocket straws
for some school work so...Day 1
I got some metal straws and a cut-up piece of paper
and started making a rocket straw thingy.
First I made a small rocket then I made a medium
rocket then the large rocket “that’s when he realized
he flipped up” there was instructions
for the rockets the whole time.
So then I had to test the rockets

(ok small is 1 medium is 2 large is 3 ok
are we all on the same page here ok back
to the story)
first up 1 was up, I had to test them five times
each on the first try it went 3m NEXT was 3.80m
next was 3.80 again next was 3.85 next was 3.60
it’s 2’s time to shine first 2.83 next was + 1m that’s
3.83 next was 3.20 next was 5.30m next was 4.17m
ok its 3’s turn first up 1.95m next was 3.70 next was
3.08m next was 4.20m next was 4.32m.

And for another sidequest, we did some rocket food
for our blog mine looked like a space ship it looked
like this
yeah so this was so much fun I enjoyed playing with the rocket well ill see you later see ya. By  Khan Thompson

  1. Ka pai Khan! It looks like you have had quite a bit of fun on this rocket theme! I am super impressed with your enchilada rocket! Well done with the labelling, especially using the technical terms. Your straw rockets seemed to have flown well. I was wondering if you ended up using the metal straws or changed to plastic ones? Which size overall do you think flew best and why?
